About me
I have loved creating things since I was a little kid and that’s what I’ve continued to do throughout my life. As a photographer and a musician, I appreciate both order and spontaneity. Structure and chaos. Form and freedom.
I believe a photograph isn’t simply a document of a space or a person. A photograph is an expression of emotion and mood; not just a moment, but the attitude of that moment frozen in time.
Let’s work together to create some special photographs. I can’t wait.
I live with my wife, twin sons, and daughter in an early 20th Century American Foursquare in the heart of the Del Ray neighborhood of Alexandria, just south of Washington, DC.
P.S. Check out my current personal photography projects which include a chronicle of jazz musicians living in Washington DC, and a rapidly growing collection of photographs of Alexandria, Virginia.
